I read a thread awhile back that spoke about using 15" truck wheels and cutting the centers out and then taking Chrysler 14" wheels centers to make custon width wheels.

I can not seem to find that thread.

Does anyone know anything about that?

Thanks.

I would be interested in this as well. Nothing comes up under the search function.

I have married the two together. Its hard to find the correct outer wheel. This one I made with an AMC center. Its easier to find Chevy truck 15x8 outer hoop and then use mopar 15" centers. Also new outer 15" hoops can be bought and then reuse Mopar 15" centers.

I had a set of steelies made up for my 70 Dart. Used a set of 15 inch styled steel or rally type wheels from a GMC S15 for the hoops. I didn't have any spare sbp rallies so I used the plain steel centers. They were made specifically for drag radials or slicks. After I had sold the car I gave them to a buddy when I was moving.
