i can barely tap the shifter on 3/tree 65 valiant 225 and it will fall out of gear. I've looked at linkage under hood and can't see where it's slipping or anything odd. I'm guessing it's in the column but I can't seem to figure out how to remove the middle portion to see if something is broken. How do I get that off?
