Converter question

If I have a externally balanced 360 with a B&M flex plate. What type of converter can I run? By this I mean, does it have to be neutrally balanced, like the one Im running currently?? Or can I use a weighted converter?

In other words I want to swap converters so what do I have to change on the engine for this to work?

You need a neutral converter. You can (fairly) easily knock the weights off a 360 converter, and then use the BM flex. But be sure it's a 360 (off balance) converter, and not a neutral converter that simply has small corrective weights to get it into "neutral" balance.
