I hope it wasnt me who sparked the PV conversation.
You know it is possible to drive the car with the PV circuit plugged.You just cant give it a whole lot of throttle.I have used that tidbit to fine tune PV selection. I bet you could get 50 or 60 mph on the Pmains, and reasonably briskly at that.
I only mentioned the PV in a previous post, because you cant set the idle mix if its contributing, and early Holleys were known to occasionally blow the diaphragms out on a backfire. Im guessing just about everybody knows that. And if I hadnt mentioned the PV, somebody would have chimed in with " but what if......".
-And one more thing. Just because your PV has a number on it, doesnt mean its written in stone. Buy the PV checker, and start testing your selection. I had to re-lable most of mine.
