I was actually drooling over that one. He wanted 5k which I think wasn't a bad deal. It was pretty complete. Looked solid, and that Slant 6 sounded amazing!!

I bought some weatherstripping from Mr. Moparts. Door seals and Roof rail seals.
I wanted to pick up a center section with a sure-grip. I found a 741 with 3.55 gears and a Sure-Grip but they wanted $500.00 but I just couldn't justify spending that much on a 741.
I might as well buy a new Sure-Grip and have my 742 rebuilt for less than the cost of used. I offered $300.00 but they did't take it. Oh well.

Yep, it did. Turns out he lives pretty close to me. But I've never seen it around town. Then again, it's very seldom when I do.
