Just purchased a 1963 Dodge Dart. When I go to start my car, the oil light comes on but car won't turn over. I will sometimes pull the transmission lever up and down a few times and that will usually help and then the engine will fire once I turn over. Anyone else have this problem? Right now it won't start at all. This is my first mopar so any help will be greatly appreciated!

Others will know more......basically it sounds like you need a cable adjustment and or a new neutral safety switch. You could do a search on line for the cable adjustment procedure and switch replacement.

Welcome to the Mopar club.

Try holding the neutral button down while you move the lever in the park position sometimes it binds and doesnt move all the way down. If that doesnt work a cable adjustment will need to be done.
