I like crab but having the crabs is something different.
I popped the rotors off to do a little painting and what did i see? Chinese bearings and very little grease. Looks to me like another lesson learned. Does the USA make anything anymore. or is it all out sourced?Now I have to question the whole kit's quality....

Damnit that sucks. Sometimes the Chinese bearings are ok but sometimes they are not.
I thought they went through the hole in the table? I am so confused......If you go to the right hooker, they're free.... (Or part of the deal...)

And Timken is not the same as they used to be either IMO!
8 1/4 bearings are almost impossible to get USA made, another bearing place thing for me, actually have the part numbers down after that freaking 74/75 fiasco with the changeover on the side bearings.
That is one good thing about RA they have a list of the parts and suppliers.
They were kinda pricey I thought, $65 a dozen for large ones, but I hear in MD they cost way more. Lot of people from Maryland were there today.Who paid for your crabs?
Only issue I ever had with timkins was spun a race once in one of the Aerocoupes we had, usually the lesser of evils.

My boss said they can go for as much as $400 a bushel in Annapolis where he is from (he had to move away because the cost of living there is out of sight.)
