I have set of rims 14x7 14x6 with 3 3/16 back space for my 1969 dart what would be a good tire combo?

Isn't that going to bring the wheel out? 255's will fit but will stick outside of the fender.

What width rear axle do you have in place? The width between the wheel mounting flanges will play a role in how wide a tire you can fit inside of the wheel well.

who sells a 255 / 14 ? the biggest I have found are 245 /60/14 and they fit under the back no problem but you need to roll the front lips to get them under up front . they work great on my Barracuda but I have seen them tear up a rolled front fender on a dart when it hit a bump while turning .

I have 245/60/14 t/a radials out back on 7's, and 215/70/14's up front on 6's, both on acorn rallyes.

The 245/60/4 rear and 215/70/14 front is the best combo for the Dart.

I'm running 235/60/14 rear and 215/60/14 front.

There is more room for 245 width in the rear from the 235 and the 60 series tires in front leaves too much of the wheel well opening exposed.

I have looked at a ton of Dart rallye wheel rim and tire combos and feel the 245/60/14 rear and 215/70/14 front is the nicest combo and what I‘ll be buying next time.

You may have to go with a English measurement vs. metric tire to achieve this.

a 245/60/14 is 9.65 section width and 25.57" tall.

a 255/60 15 would be 10.04/26.05 respectively.
