I am looking for any recommendations for a local company to shorten and balance my drive shaft for the 8.75 install. I am just south of Minneapolis. I have a handful of numbers but was hoping to hear anyone's experiences. Thanks

Had mine done at FleetPride in Burnsville. 100 bucks shortened and balanced.

Advanced Drive Line in Minneapolis.
After conversations with a few knowledgeable driveshaft fabricators I find I need to have a new one made. the tube in tube version on both of the 66 barracudas will not be shortened but the front yoke will be reused and a new solid shaft will be made up with the correct Universal joint to fit the 489 case 8.75.
