Not to be an ***...but is the vehicle sitting at ride height? If so, you need to get the shackles back to at least 6 o'clock.

Got a 10an bung welded my fuel tank.one of my friends did it.I was worried about fuel residue .I wash it 3 times with dawn and he let it air out.Charged me 25 bucks including the bung

Are you going to run a return line system here or did you just want a larger outlet to the new pump.
I am glad you posted this thread as I am researching the same issue for upgrade.
You figure your Holley blue pump is not up to the job?
Is that filter going on the suction side or the pressure side.

Yes the blue won't cut the mustard with the new engine.I'm going to run e85 and have to run a filter b4 the pump that is a screen rather than a paper filter.I bought a 350 mph pump which is overkill but I won't have to upgrade again

Yes I am looking the the same dilemma.
So is your thought that you need more volume because of running e85 or that the new engine will need more volume or both.
I have to put together a new fuel system for my new motor. I may start off with race fuel and eventually change over to alcohol or e85,
So to me it makes sense to go overkill on a new pump that is alcohol compatible. Do you have any concerns with the aluminum fuel cell being compatible with e85? Can you tell me about the rest of the system such as what kind of fuel line for the main run etc.
Thanks

I run Teflon in the braided line.I don' know what your hp is goin to be but ive had friends run a Mallory 250 with alky and ran 5.80 in the eighth.E85 don't burn much more than fuel but alky does.I had a car that ran on fuel injection used 3.7 gallons warming up and down the eighth and back to the pits that ran 5.60 but don' follow me I'm not very smart or fast at doing things.I wished I'd nevery bought this car.I wanted to sell it and my wife missed my camaro and wanted me to keep this car also.Ive done to much to it

Anyone have a rule book ? IS my regulator in the wrong spot?
I see regulators mounted on the firewall on street cars, but if you drag race it, the tech guy will gig you for it. Rules wize, it can't be on the firewall incase you lose a flexplate or flywheel, it would take out the regulator and fuel line causing a fire. Plus, it has to be shielded where the fuel line is ran under the car, in the area where the flexplate/flywheel is.

Thanks.I had forgot about that.I' moving it.I have all my fittings and fuel line.I just have it get a friend to come over to get up under the dash to take it off

I ended up making it under the dash and am test fitting it on the fenderwell with some MSD shock mounts.Looks kinda bad don't it?
