I'm about to remove the roll up windows from the doors in my 70 Swinger. There is a nylon attachment rivet holding the window to the regulator. Looks like I may have to destroy these to get the windows out. Has anyone had any experience with these? Year One shows a rivet in their online catalog, but it is not specified for my model of car?? (their tech help did not know either.) Appreciate any input. Howard

What ever happened with this? I am researching window removal and came across your question. I have the same year Dart and am at the point that I need to remove all the glass in the car.

You need to roll up the window. Then unbolt the regulater from the door, push it back and slide the regulater back off of the window. Take it out through the large hole in the door. Then make sure all of the bolts are out of the wing window and lift it all strait up and out. Leave that nylon rivet and chanel on the window.
