WS fiberglass hood

Hey someone was saying they put a WS fiber hood on there 65GT took off tortion bars at hinges and pinned front HOW was hinge mounted in back of hood?? i debating on a WS hood (mines pin holed badly)butWS says there is no mount point at back side of hood HELP whoever did this to their Dart id like the "how to" thanx Bert

Hi Bert ! I made up two right angle 1 1/2" on each side...... 6 " long aluminum plates . Glassed them the hood where the existing swing hinges will attach. Real simple job. did not use the tension bars. 2- Pins in the front of hood to hold it down. sealed the air pan to hood.
fit great .......works awesome !
