71 Dodge Demon
Ok so it is realy a 75 Plymouth Duster that I am converting over to look like a 71 Demon. The front end is done. Just need to change over the rear end and the driver door.

I would like to one day turn this into a BB drag car. 440 stroked to 500 cid with a built 727 and a dana 60 rear end. Would like to run low 10's.

Moparhead64 Well someone in the Jackson ,Mich area had taken either a demon or duster body and combined the 2 into a drag car named the "DEMON DUSTER" . It was definately different . 02-20-2012

Ms4speed great idea i have done the conversion of a 74 duster to a 72 demon, then after i was done i wanted my 74 duster back. dusters of any year are good lookers, i dont know why 73 up duster dont get any respect but what makes all a-bodies cool.........there is no such thing as a bad a -body..... good luck either way 09-01-2011
blue demon Wow! Very ambisious project.Good luck & keep posting uptdates,I'm curious to see how the conversion goes.

Australia68valiant O.k just did smoe research, our cars share the same base ( in other words we stole) as an American 1968 dodge dart. Just out of curiosity, is the dart/demon an a/b or e body ?. I would love to go the 440 option my self, I've already got got got the a front case for my 727 to fit the big block (it's currently behind my 360) but am worried about the rest, suspension upgrade, fitting it in, keeping it cool and so on. What colou are you thinkin for for this demon/duster? 04-25-2011
Australia68valiant Looks awsome, I never relied how interchangable (if that's even a word) parts are from dusters to demons, over here the only duster i'v ever seen fofor sale went for $12,000 wich is good being so rare but was unlicenced and on the other side of the country. I'll get back to ou on what year dart is the same body shape as our cars. 04-25-2011
MachineMan Nice!

Thanks for the links

Low 10's, I see...........

You know back in the day there was a TV program called "Eight is enough"

So I say to my friend, "We should build a car that does 8's, and call it, "8's are enough"....."

He looked at me and said, " With our budget, 8's are way too much!"

LOL

hawaiiandart Cool project. Kinda like what I have planned. Just wondering if you had trouble fitting the front end to the Duster. Will the fenders bolt directly to the radiator support, etc.? You must of had trouble with the bumper since the 1975 had the 100# shock absorbers. What are you planning on the rear bumpers?
My project is a 1973 Scamp that I will be turning into a 1970 Swinger using a Dart front clip. Just wondering what problems I'll be running into. Any tips will be appreciated.
