So here are two pictures: one that I pulled off of another thread, and then one of my car (69 notchback) in my shop. Mine is the hardtop- the one that needs painting. I think these are the same color- I have read that it is called Olive Green. What is the code? Is it F3- that looks much different to me on the chart. And when I go to a paint shop, what do I tell them so that I get the original color, not some interpretation of it? Thanks

Hi Jim,
A hot bartender at the Baltic Room on Capital Hill had the exact same color and generation fish back in 2003. Is this the car?

No, this car came from Lake Havasu. I bought it from the original owner who is now 80.

However, with the above report, I think a cocktail at the Baltic room may be in order. Reconnaissance mission; for research purposes.

Ha! I don't know though. 7 years can do a lot to night-lifing bartender.
