I would like someone to drop in..the company states that they will not respond to parts question..

Roblin's is in Demorestville, Ontario. South of Belleville, West of Trenton, and North of Picton.

Here's the link (hope it works) to the virtual tour of Roblins Garage in Demorestville. I know where he's located and I'm only about 35 mins away from him, but due to my scheduling I don't know when I'd be able to go over. This guy is reasonable for pricing plus he also has some NOS parts as he used to own a Dodge dealership in Picton. I want to go to his yard to look for parts for my '73 but just can't find the time. The location is a little tricky to find if you are not familiar with the area (there is a map on the website) Demorestville is a little village in Prince Edward County just south of Belleville Ontario (for those not from the area). I hope someone can help grassy out here.:thumleft:

Thanks guys...I am looking for 2 15* 8 inch Rallye rims with rings ..the two acorn things on my 14 should work...I think large bolt but something tells me my 8 3/4 is small..

I have found a few used but they are more enpensive than new...are the re pops that bad ?

I am suffering here because we do not have a junkyard that has early mopar...there is no rush so I thught that anyone is passing that place that they could drop in..I find that if you ar standing in front of them that they take you a bit more seriously..

Thanks, Ian.

Wow Ian, what a find! Some neat stuff there. I wish there was something like that around here too. I've heard rumours of places, but thats it.

I Was Just There On Tuesday, Are You Sure He Has Those Wheels. Lawrence Is A Great Guy Once You Get To Know Him. He Does Not Do Email's, He Is Over 70 Years Old. Still Pulling Parts Off Cars Even In Winter, He Has Crushed A lot Of Cars,But Not Sure What Is Left. Not Much Left On Any A-Bodies Cause I Pretty Much Picked Them Clean. Just PM Me Here And I Can Give Him A Call.

moparwedden,

I appreciate this.

I wasn't sure but thanks for the offer..it seems to me that folks want more for the old stuff that what I can buy new..and in the area of rims..perhaps new is better than old..

I was under the impression that he had a vast amounts of product..the reason I wanted someone to go there because of an experience that I had last summer.

I contacted a junk yard in Truro..that is a two hour drive for me one way..about a part for the Duster. They asked me to call so I did and they said they had the part and no problems. I jumped in my truck which gets @ 22 mph and headed to Truro..It was raining slightly when I arrived. At first, they didn't know who I was but I kept the name of the dude. There were 3 guys behind the counter (that included the dude that I talked to). As I was trying to talk to the gent, he kept answering the phone..the other guys were doing nothing..finally, after him finishing the third call, buddy remembered what I wanted but he said sorry, his staff does not go out in the yard when it is raining..come back another day..I told him where I lived again and so sorry, no can do..so I got a bit lost leaving Truro and passed another salvage yard that I hadn’t known about..went in..the parts guy thought they may have one..assigned a guy and a truck to me and we went searching...found the part and left.

I just figured that if someone lived close, they could pop in for me.

Ian.

Hi Grassy, I am not sure if I am too late for this info, but I deal with a guy out in Beaverton, Ontario called National moparts inc. www.nationalmoparts.com. They are reasonable with pricing. They have a 188 number which is toll free from Ontario. My advice would be to call them with your needs as email takes a few days for a response. Ask for Rick, Nigel or Kim. They also offer shipping at good rates.

why don't you get on the phone and call them, see if they have, then a member can help out.
I have to go that way (not close, but close enough) but you need to talk to them first.
:burnout::burnout:

Thanks guys....I am dead in the water so to speak until my body will let me do the work..my wife has kinda asked me not t buy any more parts until then.

Thanks solid340...btw, where do you call home ?

Ian.

Grassy i just seen this thread i was there 2 weeks ago and i'll be going back in a couple weeks for some parts i'll look when i'm there if you like.

66,

Thank-you, I really appreciate your offer. I hurt myself in August and no work has been done on the car since then so we are way behind. It has been suggested to me that I should stopbuying for awhile.

I wouldn't mind a rain check on the offer.

Ian :)
