Just wanted to share this intake :happy10:
I have never seen one before, it was a big bolt pattern 2 barrel
Little pricy though :-D
Has anyone ever seen one before ?
I seen it at Monster Mopar Weekend this past week

Cain was an Aussie company.....there is a mob now called Aussie Speed....they make manifolds for the /6.

The above link is to the 6 cylinder intake manifolds section.

Thank you for the link cjh :happy10:
Mine is one of the original first CAIN intakes made for the big Holley 500 carbs :happy10:

I am sooooo happy to have this in my /6 parts to hang on the wall for know
It has some nicer and bigger runners then my Offy 4 barrel I am running a dual pump Holley 390 on 8)

Thats a cool one....I just got a aluminum 2bbl for my wifes car, Not as cool and nostalgic as yours though!! Sweet part!!
Andrew/Kidd

My son Creed has already put his eye's on the carb, he said it's the good 500 and they run them on modified V8 Stock car's
I need to build me a 198 or 225 /6 and put 66aCUDA's big valve head on top of it and let that CAIN feed it =P~ one day :-D

That may be a Cain, but this is a 'Cane.

I believe that is the sons that took over the business and ran longer runners that mix much better, Mine is from the old company that started in 1959 by John Cain there father or grandfather still out of Australia

does a cain intake make the motor numb when it runs?

I think the 4 barrel is better. But that's just one man's unejeekated opinion. I can tell you about that snake, however. That is an Eastern Indigo snake. It is the largest non-poisonous snake in North America. It is also commonly known as the King snake. They are great snakes to have around. They are immune to and eat every poisonous snake species in North America. Up to and including all species of rattlesnakes found here. If it's poisonous a snake and indegenous to North america it the eastern Indigo's food. Now.....about the legal implications of what you did when you picked it up. You broke local, state and federal law. It is a protected species. Because if it's very docile nature, they were almost put to the point of extinction because people horded them as pets. they are slowly makin a comeback, though. that snake is really your friend. Believe it or not.
