Did you go to Barona? How was the tech inspection. Did they harass you?

Let me know the next time you go!

It was Barona. They didn't harass me. Said I need a locking Trans dipstick next time, but let me stay. Their rules say 7.35 needs a cage, but I ran a 7.34 and they didn't say anything.

New best today of 7.23 (11.40). 60' still high 1.5's to mid 1.6's. Cant' get consistent with these tires. First run of the day , no spin and best ET both times I've had it out. After the first run, they spin no matter what I do.

Thanks Louis, I'll let you know if I can't get these SS springs to work. I have /6 torsion bars up front.

Yes, Rob, I got it fixed. Added 1/4" spacers on the front spring perches and that got it so the shackle is straight up and down. I might try spacers on the rears too to get more rearward angle.
what air pressure in the tires?
started with 25. no spin on first run. Hot lapped to second run, so it was probably higher and the second run. Dropped to 24 from the hot pressure (about 28). Next run, had some spin, but not bad. Hot lapped for another run, and got put in the other lane--worst spin ever. Hot lapped again to original lane and had a little spin but not bad. I think the left lane was just bad.
I got there late and only got the 5 runs during the T&T runs. On last run, had other problems, so couldn't run anymore anyway.

I plan on starting at 22 next time and dropping from there. I've dropped all the way to 15 before, and it didn't like it, so I'll see what it does 18-22.

Getting better: Best ET of 7.166 with a 1.583 60' @ 95.107 MPH. Stayed consistent with 5 runs ranging 7.166 to 7.224. Best 60' 1.562. Hooking up MUCH better now after fixing the angle of the rear leaf hangers. Also found front brakes dragging (both calipers bad), which was probably costing at least .10.

my 70 duster 340 in street trim, runs 11.25 121mph 1/4 mile, with 850 mighty demon carb, with my 780 holley 11.40 117 , both runs with a 410 gear, put 456's in hope to get the runs with the 780 down into the low 11's.

currently in the paint shop going from red to black and adding a roll bar, i run with arizona's fastest street cars in the easy street class index 11.50 so they tend to look the other way, but i would like to run in vegas at mopars at the strip and will need the roll bar
