I was talking with a coworker the other night who had grown uo in the 70's. He was telling me all about the cars on the road at the time, and a few war stories too. He mentioned it was popular to paint the nickname, or slogan on the car somewhere, usually on the rear.
He mentioned one Camaro with "Camarojuana" painted on its side. Another one was "Midnight Dynamite". Also mentioned "Cuda Kid" on the ducktail on an AAR. I recall a few rides around in the 80's with names like "Silver bullet" on a mid 70's Camaro and ""better think twice" on the rear quarters of a built up Mustang II.
Obviously it was a bit tacky but kinda cool. Do any of you guys recall any? Pics would be a bonus!

This one is called "Prime Tyme"

It's owned by a 70+ year old

This car was done this year.

My first car was a 78 Fury with a 318 and a 1 barrel. I painted "THE BEAST" on the back lip of the trunk. Sat 6 comfortably and you could hold a square dance on the hood.

In the late 70's when I had my 1973 Dodge Dart Sport it was known as "The Super Dodge"!
