FABO representing on Grand.

Yep, orange or red, I can't tell. Funny thing, I had agreed to buy that car from him a year ago, it would not run, and he was looking to dump it. I agreed to buy it from him if I could get it running. Well, I did over the course of a weekend.....did not know the guy whatsoever.....then, of course.....he begged me to let him keep it so.....I consider that to be my car on loan to him!! Hope he does not wreck it or hurt it!!! It is a great car...probably a 1 of 1 based on the options, lack there of, and the apparent stripe deletes.....



I plan on being at the "Grand" this weekend......with luck we will bring all three cars up....

AB, looking forward to meeting you man! I only wish we had a specific spot to all park together. I figure we will be able to get at least a few of us parked in a group, so keep an eye out for the cluster of Mopars. Some of the member's cars pictured above should be the ones. There will be a few of us out there w/o our cars too.

Hey Patry, A bunch of us use the local weekly "cruising grand" show here in Escondido as the place to meet up. It's in Northern San Diego county, and runs each Friday from April-September.

We have been talking about doing a random gathering sometime for breakfast or something during the off season...perhaps its time to do that sooner than later?

Just a heads up, I know there are not too many of us going tonight, but for those that are planning to meet up at Wades shop...We will be rolling out by 3:30pm at the latest. nitro night gets busy, so parknig tends to vanish pretty fast.

Totally understand Justin...I really do! If you can make it though, it will be good to see you bro!

This is where she sat after we pushed it out of traffics way! This was taken oh about a minute before the rain suddenly started...WHICH, mind you, stopped after we got the car towed to the shop.

all in aqll I actually had fun Wade. I am sorry for the car... but than kyou for the great cam shaft conversation tonight. I got to take a rad Scenic drive, and meet your family. Lets do ity again soon...minus the broken car part.

Soo did anybody make it to Grand? how was it?:D
 
I'll take the 340 off your hands so it won't be sitting and can be fired up and driven till you replace the rear lol...
 
I saw an A body 8 3/4 on craigslist for $350.

I drove up and down Grand a couple times looking for everybody. Saw '64 or '65 Barracuda out there that put mine to shame. I didn't see any a body group and the car was getting a little warm from driving around trying to find everyone, so i went home...plus I don't have wipers or headlights on the Duster, which is what I drove.
 
I went. It was pretty good considering the weather. I didn't take any pics but I did have a good time overall. The weather detoured me from driving anything old so I took my truck instead, glad I did.
 
Cool to have met you Chris or Kris...not sure how you spell it.

I have more news to report. In the spirit of security, I can't reveal it yet....more to follow soon.
 
Nice to meet you too man! I will keep you in the loop for the next gathering. The guy with the white convertible, did you say he was a member too?

Even though Grand is over, this is Southern California, so lets not wait until next season to get together ehh?:D
