Lancer Brakes

Subject: 61 Lancer.. I am getting some 10" front brakes. Can the 9" front brakes with the spindle. Can the Lancer brakes be swapped out?

to swap from 9" brakes to 10" brakes you need to change the spindles

I have the brakes and spindles. So it looks like I can use the later ball joints (63-72)

I didn't think that was a bolt-on without changing a bunch of other parts but I admit I've never tried to do it myself. Let us know how it works out.

Did that swap on a 62 valiant, take everything between the knuckles from the 10" set-up ,swap it for the 9" set-up. Get the correct rubber lines & adjust & go, Lawrence

'62 and up would be no problem but I don't think it's a straight bolt-on for the '60-1 models.
