I have a 73 Dodge Dart Sport. Where is a good spot to splice in a toggle switch to work as a kill switch? I was thinking the fuel pump, ignition, etc. with a 30amp switch. What would you do? Thanks fella's.

If you have an MSD 6A or 6AL you can use the white wire for a kill switch.

If you have an electric fuel pump, and it sounds like you do, that's a good place. It should already be controlled by a relay so all you have to do is kill the power to the relay. There are several ways to do it though. I have one wired in the small power lead going to my MSD box.

Lot'sa ways to do that, the electric pump is a good one

If you don't have a pump, and stock ignition, one way is to run a wire from the coil NEG post, and if you have a tach, it's already there. Install a small hidden switch to ground that wire.

Most people don't suspect a tach wire, and wont' spend much time looking

Some guys who don't smoke actually use the lighter as a switch.

You could use it to ground your tach wire as above, or to operate a pump relay coil when running.

Wherever you put it, I probably wouldn't post it here! lol. While I don't suspect any members here would try to take your car, I know I definitely wouldn't post that kind of information online.

Just my $.02

What is the purpose of the switch, shut-down or anti-theft? Ignition kills are more effective, since even with fuel pump killed, the car will stil lstart, but a hidden switch that grounded out both the ignition and the fuel pump circuit would be more difficult to defeat.

Anti-theft. I kinda like the fuel pump cut off, because my car is pretty loud and you would hear the initial start up. Eventually a good alarm system, But I dont trust them, hell, I have a few friends that can get around them in a minute. Thanks.
