Well I guess I should introduce myself since I'm a new member here and have been lurking for a little while.
I recently sold my race car to purchase a boat but changed direction and picked up a 74 Dart Sport.
It's not a numbers matching car and it will be a dual purpose street and strip car but I'm not looking to go as fast as I did with my other non Mopar car.
I bought this car from someone that was turning it back into a streetable car since it was a stripped out bracket car. Right now it's a 440, 727 and has a Dana 60 rear end in it. I'm in the process of finishing it. It will be trailered to the track next year but the following year I hope to drive it there.
It was an original 318 4 speed car and the pedals are still in it.
Future plans are to convert it back to a stick with a 5 speed.
Right now it's tucked away in the garage for the winter with no room to work on it until spring.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to contributing in any way I can and I'm sure I'll need some help and advice along the way.
