Hi all!
I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. I'm a 26 year old mother and wife living in Central California (it's not all it's hyped up to be, trust me!)
My husband is a major traditional hotrod connoisseur. When I was in high school my dad and I bought a 1976 Camaro and had the greatest opportunity to work on it in a friends automotive repair shop on the weekends. I learned a lot back then! But since I have forgotten a lot of my knowledge.
About a year ago I sent my husband to a swap meet with some cash and told him to buy me a cute car. He comes home with a 1966 Plymouth Valiant Signet, light blue with pin striping on the hood and trunk lid, slant six with three on the tree. This car is ADORABLE! It fits me so well. It's my first column shifter car I have ever owned and it's SO fun!

That's all for me! It was fun to introduce myself! I'll be seeing you all soon!

Welcome Reggie, to the fun and frivolity that is FABO. Lots of your kind of cars here (early A's) but one of the rules, probably the most important, is to post some pics of your car and next time ya got a wad of cash in your posession take a look in the our "Mopar for sale" section. :D:glasses7:

Thank you for the warm welcome :) I'm trying to get my pictures to post. I'm going to fiddle with it a bit more.
Funny you mention cash: I'm trying to sell this Valiant.... :(

Welcome to FABO. Let's see some pics. How come you're wanting to sell it?

I've got two kids so therefore I don't have much time to work on it. Also since there's no AC in the car, being from central CA, we literally have 8 months of summer. So it's just too hot to cart the kids around in. My husband would love to turn it into a gasser, but funds are limited with his addictions.

Wow....nice car, and nice house in a nice hood! AC is pretty easy to install with all the aftermarket stuff that's available these days. If you like your little car and want to keep it...that may be something to think about.

Welcome!! Your car kicks ***!!!! :glasses7:

Got any pics where you can see the pinstriping better?
