Tubbing the Valiant

Here ya go Brad. Might be easier just to buy them from Strange Engineering. Cheers

Brad,

Would you have the part number for them? I've searched, but haven't been able to find them.

Thanks,

Brad

So Brad is the Art Morrison setup sitting collecting dust?I,m interested why you didn,t go with it?

I returned the entire set up ($8,000.00) to Art Morrison. Long story short. I trailered the car to Fife, WA so AM could take the dimessions first hand. When I went to install the rear clip it was way off. 2.5" to one side way off. AM built it "centered". I call Scott there (the sales and messuring guy) to tell them that Mopars are 2.5" offset...Here's what AM's sales rep. said, "that's what unuversal joints are for". My next e-mail was to Mr. Morrison. I did get a full refund but it cost me two trips to Seattle and a whole lot of stress.............so I built my own. :sad1:[/QUOTE]

I have dealt with them, and will only talk to Art, or his son; then good.

Well some progress this week. Starting at the rear and moving forward. I knew a girl like that in high school...LOL:wack:

I've been slacking off thanks to the flue bug. Yesterday I preasure tested my fuel, oil and transmission lines to 100 psi, no leaks (that was a surprise). Yes, I have lots of clearance between the front tire and oil filter/lines. I wanted to have easy access to the filter and not have oil run all over the new TTi's. I change filter and oil lots as I think it is the best engine maintenance.

I installed a oil filled oil psi guage where the oil psi warning light sendr goes. I want to keep my dash 100% stock so, I'm sticking with the warning light. I also beleive that a warning light will catch your eye faster than a low guage reading. I think both is best.

Checked the routing of the B&M shifter cable.

Cheers

Good to hear your getting over the flu. As an A/C ex builder myself, as I know you were, I can see you have used many ideas/standards in your build. Said to myself " If Brad could have found a 2 plug per cylinder set of heads he'd have dual ignitions too!!"LOL
Snowing more here today, so still waiting to set car on rotisseriere. Will it never end? East -west weather is backwards in Canada this year. Although its good for towing. I want to get on to the car.

Gear down & locked. On all 4's again. Out for a bit of sunshine..NOT in Vancouver....LOL

Not a joke,
Moving right along. Most everything under the hood is complete and I hope to trailer it to the custom exhaust shop if the sun comes out this week. I've started on the dash. The dash is painted with truck bed liner coating. It was not easy to cut the dash pad but, I did for the autometer guage pod. It turned out great. All my other cars have autometer guages but, this time I am going with SW because of the range of each guage. I still feel autometer has better quality and most of all customer support. SW is still in the 60's. :coffee2:
