Looks good Eric, I will send you my K frame and you can try your new ideas.....LOL
Dude that is one killer motor. Hope you, Tincup and I can all meet up one day. It would be fun to run all 3 cars on an open track.
Tim
Sounds good but don t be up set when all you see is my tail lights

Let me get this straight, you spent thousands on an engine designed for racing just to "detune" it to 600+ hp?

1. I don't see the logic in the spending money AND detuning.

B. If 600hp is detuned, I'd love to see what kind of power it could've made.

III. It's really cool to see a classic like that choc full of viper parts, I had no idea it could be done.

Also. You need more info and pics.

Lastly. That is a really cool project and I believe I'm gonna suscribe. What color shall it be when it's done?

This post is funny...

For point III, you should see that other guys build...

When is this thing going to be on the road Eric?

Keep it up Chuckles, that's another run in your paint......:finga:

As long its a Mopar leading the pack. I can live with that. **** I need to rethink my motor now...LOL
If I don't I might be so far behind I couldn't even see your tail lights...:burnout:

Heck, the only way I'm going to catch him is when he stops for gas....

Your car should be in the movies, a tough-looking little ride. Maybe we'll see it in Fast 7. I think early-A Valiants look nicer than Darts, and I have both. 63/64 Dart grills have an over-bite, 65 is nicer, but Valiant fronts are sleek. Dart tail-lights make the rears look dumpy. Valiants have nicer rears with the tailfin lights, though not as bright.

Interesting approach to rack and pinion. It takes a lot of metal to provide a supporting structure way back there. Seems like I saw other designs that come off the frame rails. Looks like the engine clears, but I bet you can't get the oil pan off. My newer cars use a cradle system to support the rack & pinion and the sway bar mounts, but that isn't light either. You probably wind up with similar weight to a Pitman arm system, but better feel in the steering.

Awesome build, nice work on all the fabrication too; everything fits together so seamlessly!
would you mind talking a bit more about the brakes up front? Are those drum or disk spindles? im planning on doing the same thing..the only issue ive encountered in the planning is finding a set of rotors to make work.

Looks good Eric, Did you have the front buckets redone to match the rear seat. Looks like it fits great

The seats are OEM Recaro seats real dark charcoal leather just fabricated brackets and the rear needed filler pcs

Looks great, but if its called project white trash.I guess it safe to say the driving attire will be a dirty wife beater and tan Dickie pants,or maybe so ripped jeans.
