Hello all.
I'm getting ready to reassemble my '73 Dart Swinger and am looking for a lot of small pieces that either went missing during the build or weren't on the car when I got it. I'm looking to get these parts over the next couple of weeks so that I can get the car ready for cruise season this year. Let me know what you have and how much you want for it shipped to North Smithfield, RI (02896).

Here's the list of parts I need:
-Defrost vents (black) for the dash. I believe any vents from 1970-1976 will work, but not 100% on that.
-Dome light lens cover.
-Side marker lights for the front fenders (amber) and rear quarters (red).

This list will be added to as time goes on... I can't really think of all of the pieces that I need right now.

Thank you all for your help on this. I can't wait to finally have her running this year!:burnout:

I wanted to check with members who like to sell parts first. I figure most reproductions are made overseas.

I also thought side makers and dash vents were overpriced, but I haven't checked lately.

I'll be answering with PMs in the order I receive responses here or PMs. Badart has first go, then I'll continue down the list.
Thanks all.

On another note, I have a "custom" (=ebay) aluminum radiator measuring 22.5" wide and 20" tall (16" of elements). I am going to need a fan shroud but I'm not sure on what size shrouds will fit. I'm not too concerned with how to mount it, but i definitely want it to look compatible. Any ideas? Or maybe I'll start a separate thread.

Those parts are pretty inexpensive and easilly available. I would just buy new.

Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong places, but where are you finding these parts new for reasonable prices? Dash vents alone reach prices of ~$80. The lowest I found them for was $60. Maybe I'm expecting unreasonably low prices... But I don't think I'm too unreasonable.

I've bought the new, repro dome lenses for $10 at the car show/swap meets. The dealer still carries the factory side lights and were in the $12-14 range the last time I looked. I've also seen the repro side lights for around $10 ea.

I think I'm just going to buy the dome lens new. I have the defroster vents and rear side markers ordered from members here. Still waiting on a response regarding the front marker lights, but I will reach out to people if I don't heart back from him.

Moving forward, I realized I will also need a dust cap for one of my front spindles. Anybody have any of those laying around?
Thanks again everyone.

Update: more parts needed.

I'm looking for a headlight switch and wiper switch for the car. I am making an aftermarket dash, but I'm sure I cang make them work. Unless somebody has any other suggestions.
Thanks.

It's a 1973, so I believe they were all three speed. I've never driven the car, so idk. Is there an easy way to check?

Update: Found the headlight and wiper switches still installed on my original wiring harness tucked away in the shop.

Thanks again for helping me out with these parts guys. I really appreciate it. I'll keep this updated as I find more odds and ends I need.

Looking for front fender lower support braces for a 1973 dart swinger, the ones that connect the front lower fender in front of the wheel-well to the bumper brackets. They need to be ~14.5" long and look like the picture below. (Thanks Big Mike)

I bought some on here a few months back but they the rod style and are only 10.5" long. I am willing to trade. They are cleaned and painted semi-gloss black.

Thanks all!
-Mike

If nobody has these, does anybody know if they're available anywhere online? I haven't been able to find them anywhere and all the pick yards around here recently scrapped all of the vintage cars... damn shame.

Thanks for the PM on the fender braces.

I was screwing around in the shop tonight and started looking at the Holley carburetor that came with my motor. It's a Holley 65-3310 carb, 750 CFM with vacuum secondaries. Since it came with the motor and transmission, i think it's safe to assume it will work with the combo. It's been sitting in my shop for a year on a shelf, so I may look into a rebuild, though I'm not sure if it needs one.

Regardless, I do need a choke plate for it, as well as any hardware needed to secure it on. Some fool ripped all of the choke assembly off. I'll take whatever I can get, as all of the aftermarket choke kits do not include a choke plate (go figure...)

Thanks all. I really do appreciate the responses and help.

Does anybody have a driver's side mirror for a 73 Dart? I can post a picture of mine if needed to compare. I have the mirror but the lens is broken off of the mounts so it moves freely.
Thanks all.
