Hi all,
the car below is the same model as I'm building and it's basically the same colour as I'm planning on useing. What are your thoughts, good or bad, doesn't matter. Just looking for a cross section of opinion! I'll be running 17 or 18" billet wheels so the overall look will be more Street machine.
Just your thoughts on colour please guys, getting at lot of comments about the wheels but they are nothing like the ones I'm looking at useing.
Check out my restoration thread if you like. AUSSIE 62 VALIANT

A very good choice  I give it a :thumblef: memike like

The color is a personal choice, and I agree about the wheels, those there remind me of a Ford Probe, better to go with wheels that don't look like they belong on another car...

I'm thinking black with cragers or some other old school rim.

Wow, I actually like it. Wheels, color, and everything. Well, except for the lack of a V8. I think it's a good looking car.

I think that might be a stretch. I actually like the wheels on Abodyjoe's car, and PART of that is because they ARE NOT all chrome, all gaudy.

THIS is NOT my idea of what these old girls should look like:

I like the color and would bet the picture doesn't do it justice. The tangerine usually makes the chrome pop when you see it in person

I like it..... Post pics when you are done!

Like the color. HATE big stupid modern rims. Thinkin tangerine with body color steelies, dog dishes, and trim rings........ Oh yeah!

I'd choose an solid colour for the Valiant. Just my personal opinion!

Love the color , the wheels can go to the scrap yard or on a newer car, maybe a lil chop chop to the top top lose the rear door handles and just a tad bit lower in the front and a Lil more lower in the front...I wonder how many people ask him what year his volvo is???

Would love to chop the top but rego will be giving me a hard enough time as it is! Reg's here would make a chop almost impossible today. Shame really it would set the car off nice. Looking at Budnik X - Series ice aluminum wheels as on the cover of the latest Summit catalog. Rear handles are going and the fronts replaced with mid 90's Ford units. And yes, lower is better!

I like the car and the color, but it's definitely your choice. Just how you like low-rider style and I prefer a beefy looking rake to a car (maybe not that body style). To each their own though. :)
