I have been looking for a while now and I came across this yesterday.

An all original, unmolested, 72 Swinger with only 37157 miles.

The previous po removed the vinyl top and primered a few surface rust spots. Also he painted the engine blue. I wished he would have left it alone.

Car is solid, rust free & with all of the original sheet metal.

Interior is near mint....Everything works & all electrical wires never touched.

This car still has the original spare tire, but missing the jack.

All of the rubber weather striping is still good and pliable.

I'm not really sure what I want to do with this first.

I plan on leaving it original except maybe for paint & a new top.

Other than that, I don't think I want to change anything.

I can't get over how great this car drives. Not a rattle in it nor any engine misses. Tranny shifts smooth.

And believe it or not, I only paid $3800.00 for it.

Great find!! And a great price too. I would keep it as original as possible too. They are only a survivor once.

the engine should be blue in 72', wether it be a slant six or a 318 or a 340

Good to know as I'm just learning about these. It's been since 1971 since I had my last A body. Been GM for most of those years & just finished do a 66 Mustang.

As far as the engine, it's not so much the blue paint, it is applied on real sloppy.
