So I thought people might like to see my finished and polished emblems. I am very proud of how they came out. Took a bit of effort as you will see.

I gotta tell ya the Barracuda was a lot harder then the Plymouth. Took a hell of a lot more patience. Worst part is I have another one of those still to do.
 
Nice. I've painted those Barracuda scripts too, both black and red. It aint easy, that's for sure. Keep in mind, We look at them a lot closer on the table than anyone ever will when mounted on the car.
 
I painted mine using a spray can.

I wiped my finger with Vaseline and rubbed the top edge and sides of the chrome not to be painted, used the rattle can, let the paint dry and than removed the vaseline
 
I used a syringe on my emblems. No brush marks, laid down smooth.

That's a great idea, and best of all, a lot of cities have an exchange program so you don't have to buy them. :cheers:
Just kidding! :D
 
Not at all. I think Testors acrylic enamel should hold up well to the elements.
