Thanx, I'm in the country so I can just go outside! Seriously though, I actually am going to put in a urinal at least! If I do any more that that I will need a septic tank installed.

awsome shop and awsome work do you ever go inside your house anymore lol

Thanx........actually, I have been out there alot, I just need to get Sat TV and internet, so I can watch Speed channel and surf Fabo.......................:D

Very cool man cave.

I love the office next to the bench work room.

I wanted to build an office in my garage and have been procrastinating, but my Wife asked when I was going to get "our love nest" finished in the garage........so needless to say I have been working like mad on it. LOL.

Curious what a garage that size would cost with just the slab and the building with no finish work inside.

I'd love to build another shop that size but I doubt if the county would let me cram another garage on my property although my neighbors are getting foreclosed on and my wife wants me to buy the house next door, rent it out long enough to make enough money to tear it down and build a big, big dream garage........hence the word dream....yes I am dreaming.

Cudaspaz; Sound's like a practicle way to get yourself a massive garage. The wife is talking sence!

Gdrill, that is some awesome garagespace for sure! I bet you could even handle a paintbooth in there..

Thanx, I have considered putting in a portable so it can be out of the way most of the time.

beautiful. just needs a kitchen so you can make a sammich

Thank you, The fridge has "Barley sandwiches" at all times! :D

Sweet place you have there.. How well does it stand up to the winds you guys get down there? I wouldnt put a kitchen in my shop.. leave that mess in the house.. You have the best part all set up.. Barley sammich holder.. I also keep my "water" cups in the fridge so they stay dust free.. I bet you spend ever spare moment in there..

Holy cow... I just stumbled across this thread, your shop is awesome! The only other thing I would want is a big screen tv (to go along with the couch and pool table you were pondering) and I would probably have no reason to go back in the house LOL .. very nice job!

Thanx, actually it is strategically placed behind the house for the wind. It gets breezy here, once recorded 190kmh, and last fall the wind meter blew apart and had to be replaced! It is set up directly at the top of a coulee that funnels the wind up from the river, or it wouldn't be so vicious.

Thanx, yep the big screen will be going up on the east wall. Just haven't convinced the manager it is needed yet! The pool table.........got it! Just a cheap one, but that's all you want in a shop IMO.

You'll have to come by again next weekend Tom, got something there for you!

Well after hours, days ,weeks, months of contemplating, I decided to paint the shop. I was resisting the urge due to the size of the job, but I am really glad I gave in now. It took 5 steady days and the help of my wonderful, most excellent painter, wife. There was a few beer as well! It's not totally complete in these pics though. The office still needs the final stripe between the light grey and the blue. I am very happy with the way it looks now even though I know it will just get dirty with grinding and welding. Oh well the pics can save the new look! P.S. Forgive the mess!

Only wish I had the room for a man cave like that.... Al

Thank you. Actually I was thinking right along that line. I thought I might get some pieces broke to fit over the edge and up the back. It definitely would help them last and make clean up a breeze.

Looks good George.
The work seems to stop when John Molson and i show up for a visit.
I wonder why that is?

Thanx Tom. I think it has to do with the time needed to contemplate the situation at hand. Namely, work on stuff or work on emptying the fridge!
