Yea I think I lost an auction by 3 frigging cents once. And of coarse it was the one time I really needed something!

But hay I can't complain. I once picked up some "air plane" parts out of the trash at work. Put them on Ebay as for experimental aircraft only as they had no paper work with them. Got over $500 out of them! Not bad for a little trash picking!

The joy of dumpster diving. I am not too good to dumpster dive either.

I'm keeping an eye on your auction in case I decide to liquidate one of my 22 inch shrouds (got 3 of them and 1 19 inch slant 6 shroud). BTW 65dartcharger is looking for one of those 22 inch shrouds - maybe he's bidding

Hi! Yes, I'm interested. Thanks for the tip, Bill! I've asked Dan if he knows the compatibility of the box shroud with the '64s shroud, but if it does work, I'd like to know more. Replying to PMs now.

Is that 19" shroud for a '64 or '65? I'm guessing based on your username, a '65.:blackeye:

65Dartman, got any pictures of that 19 inch shroud? Curious how it looks. thanks

Not to highjack this tread But here is the one I have for sale from my 65 Dart /6 A/C Car. 19" Radiator.

Well I guess the shroud goes back in storage. Only one bid on it. Figured some one out there could use it.

To my knowledge there were no slant 22 inch shrouds, just the 19 in style.

There were shrouds made for the 22" radiators in the 65 and 66 A-body V8s. I sold one to a member here and I still have the radiator. The real question is was there a factory 22" radiator made for the 65/66 a-body with a /6 in it?

This is the 22" shroud on eBay that started this thread.

There is the answer complete with the part numbers. Thanks Dan.

Those sure look easy to fab up if you had good examples to work off of.

Since I have both V8 22 inch shrouds and a 19 inch slant shroud, I've got good examples. Was thinking the same thing so yesterday I ordered a decent pan and box sheet metal brake and am going to give it a try.

Great! You can make some extra money and provide a much needed item to the hobby. I bet that you could also make some for the aftermarket radiators too.

Wow! It would be really cool if someone could remake these. I bet the Slant one would sell very well to the early A crowd. Also, this has been one of the most informative threads I've ever read. Nice work, everyone. :)

65dartman, I would be interested in a 19 inch one, if you decided to make em.

In regards to the part numbers posted, I wonder how this unit looks...yet probably rare as hens teeth:
1966 slant-6, w/A/C or CAP, w/22" radiator core: 2785 127

I had one of those, bought off a '66 together with the 22" radiator, on my '65 for awhile. It looks just like the V8 22" shroud except the circular fan area is shifted all the way over to the side rather than more or less centred as on the V8 shroud.
