Been looking for one, I would be interested if the price is decent. Do these screw into the deck-lid? How many would you need to sell to start production? Very Kool!!!

this is the 4th or 5th thread ive read on this subject. everybody wants one. people keep saying they will make them. i have yet to see one person follow through with it. so i will just keep looking . its always a great idea Kegan, but no one ever follows through with it once they realize whats involved.

I have been doing swap meets since the 70's and every time I get one of the DC spoilers it dont last but a day or two before its sold. I think there is a great market out there for them but I might suggest that if you build them you should make them a little beefier around the mounting points because they are really prone to breaking in this area.Build one that will last and I think youll have a winner.

Oh i know, I'm gonna repair on of them since they have some cracks

I have two of these, one needs repair the other is NOS

I would love to see them come back.I know they are worth 15mph on a top end run.I had a bone stock 318 73 duster that would only run 95mph added the rear spoiler and ran 110 then added the front one for anther 10mph.......make them they will sell...........Artie:prayer::prayer:

Anyone ever look at the 1969 Camaro rear spoiler?

It measures about 61" (at least that's the measurement I found on the internet)...which is almost the same width as a Duster deck lid.

If i could find a cheap one I might buy it.

New here but I am making all the flairs & such for the F bodies & if I had a good original I am sure I could do them!

Link to the development thread!

hey man, welcome, and please read the duster louver thread. its long, but may be worth your while.

Are you doing fiberglass or plastic? Have you seen this thread? Oh, and welcome to FABO!

Sorry for the hijack, but I am interested in both a spoiler and a louver. :D

thank you gdrill for posting that link for BHA43

sorry for the hijack Kegan ...:D

back to our regular programming..........

Thanks for the welcome! Yes my stuff is made from fiberglass1 The guy that does them makes noses & tails for Winnebago & is a perfectionist. All I need for most stuff is a good original. Mounting bosses sometimes is a problem but can work around allot! I spend most of my time on the F stuff. So If I don't respond here check for me there!
