What gauge is the fusible link from the starter relay to the ammeter on a 68 Dart??? I'm guessing it's 16g???
 
14 gage or four gage sizes smaller than conductor being protected would be used.
10 gage + 4 = 14 gage.
Remember the larger the gage number the thinner the conductor.
You can find them all made up in any automotive electrical aisle.
 
I am going to guess it is 14 gage copper stranded wire.. with a thnn isolation for heat.
 
Where did that diagram come from?? It shows 16g whereas two other guys said to use 14g. Does it matter at that point??? I s it better to be safe than sorry?
 
How do you bypass the bulkhead connector? Just pass the wire through one of the slots without using a conector?
yes, that article lays it out for you, but ran mine through another existing hole with a grommet instead of through the connector.
