New forum group, Nor-Cal Mopars

Yea mines going to be out of service until sometime next year I hope. Went to goodguys today. Same ol same ol. The auto cross was bad *** though! There was a C10 Chevy truck rippin up the course. Also saw a scamp for sale. Wow....
 
My car is at Gilbert's Auto Body in Hayward until further notice. Collision repair, rust repair, new radiator support (thanks to gtmopar), new glass, complete paint. Other than that, it's last "construction phase" was 2 years ago when I rebuilt the front suspension.

It would be nice to have some Sunday get togethers with just A's. Hit highway 1, drop the Top ( if you can, roll down all the windows ) and have fun. Hopefully it will eventually turn into this. I have a 66 dodge dart 270! That sounds like good times. The cars my daily driver, just got it last april an brought it back to life. My rear windows dont go down though lol Let me know about some cruisin though. I live in midtown Sacramento.

worked on it all day, put in converter bolts,dust cover,mini starter, ground straps,got battery charger on it now ,in the morning i need to get some gas ,get it fired, time it and dial in the carb
 
Dammit! I wanna be there when you start tuning. I've been reading everything I can get my hands on about tuning Holley Carbs. Need to get my hands dirty dammit!

Mopar Alley is having its Christmas party Dec. 1 at the Santa Clara Elks Lodge, 4:30-9:30. But if you're a member you probably already knew that.

Messing around with logos for our forum group & came up with this one. It's got a little of the old Mopar hood stripe vibe to it. What do you guys think? I kept the old graphic just in case members were partial to the other one, but this one has sticker & shirt potential. I can always tweak it or go a whole different direction if needed.

Logo is bad ***. I was thinking about incorporating the double stripe on my driver fender almost like grand sport stripes. What's the deal with the mopar alley party? Not familiar with those guys. What's going on there tomorrow?

Ill try to make that show for sure max. I thought about it after you took your car to the body shop, hell my buddy and I could have fixed up the cuda for you instead of the body shop and could have saved you some coin but I guess it's a little too late. We are doing a 69 cougar conv that's been a nightmare but its finally coming to an end. Guess ill get to see the progress they are making on it on the 8th. Trying to get this 65 Gt sold so I can make some more progress on the vert. Be a really nice car for someone now that I got the bugs worked out of it.

Mopar Alley is a pretty big group of guys, i'm pretty sure they put on the Ohlone College Mopar show every year. I could be wrong, but I'll never admit it.
 
Is their party a members only event? Ill have to do some research on their club. I think this forum group should end up putting some runs together and starting a little club. I'd be willing to invest some time and whatever I can do to see this manifest into something. It would be so cool cruising down the freeway seeing a line of A's in front and back. I'm game to see this work. Capitol city mopars in Sacramento is a very clicky group and I wasn't real happy with the assholes I ran into. Besides most are E and B body guys. Not that there is anything wrong with those but they see to think that they are better than us A guys. Thoughts???
