I've got a 1965 Barracuda that has bucket seats and needs outer seat brackets. What years will interchange and can I use bench seat brackets?

I don't know about interchange years, for sure, though I would guess 64-66 at least would be the same; but the bench seat brackets are completely different -- no resemblance to the bucket brackets, and they attach to the seat totally differently.

I suspect that brackets up through 65 will interchange. 66 Brackets are different on the mounting studs to the floor spacing and I suspect different on the seat base mounting as well.

i have a # of 64 -65-66 seats all good frames and sliders if you would like to buy some 175.00 for a set and you pay for shipping or you can pick up its 18 hrs here to valadosta if you want to take a ride you can do it in 1 weekend took me 400 in gas in my ram 8 years ago lol

Looks like I will have to repair what's left of the originals. Thanks for the replies.

What is the side to side stud spacing on the '65 seats?

on my 65 GT 'vert, side to side is about 17 to 17 & 1/2 inches and front to back mounting stud is about 11 inches.

Thanks, 65 Dartman. I always wondered where they lost the 2" of seat width for the '66 model year. I have a couple sets of MOPAR bucket seats on the shelf and the side to side measurement is 15" +/- on both sets.
