Just wondering if any of you know anyone who is famous? It could be a famous sports figure, T.V personality, movie actor, politician, or anyone who is widely well known.

I know a T.V. actor from The Red Green Show. His name is Joel Harris and he plays "Walter" on the show. We were good friends all through school. We played on the highschool football team together, and I can still remember going to his birthday parties when we were little kids. I couldn't believe my eyes the first time I saw him on the show! He was always a really funny guy and his talent has obviously served him well. I don't think the show is being produced anymore, but the re-runs are still on all the time.

Here is a little clip of him from the show...

I remember when Kathy Mattea was a skinny 12 year old that got on the bus at Lake Chaweva. Does that count?

my old best friends ex-girlfriend Heather Lee is supposedly a descendant of the real General Robert E. Lee and she actually bought my friend a 69 charger LOL

and yes, she looked mighty fine in a pair of daisy dukes

I dont believe I "know" anyone famous, but I have met quite a few famous people- Jerry Reed, Woody Harrelson, William Dafoe, Casey Affleck, Scott Cooper-director, Efka Kvaraciejus- stuntman for numerous movies and tv shows, Paul Eliopoulos-also stunts for tv and movie, and some others that I cant think of right now. If all goes right-haha- I may be famous someday- for about 5 minutes. I have been in about 5 movies. All but 1 were local type movies. The 1 is coming out this coming year-Out of the Furnace. Yep- im bragging lol

I'm friends with Keith (66340SEDAN), and he's pretty famous!

other then that, nobody really, unless you count all the band members in Metallica?

i have met and hung out with a lot of famous musicians but ill have to say my favorite is Rob Zombie he is an amazing guy. I have hung out with him on several of his tours and he is very humble and insanely smart we talked about everything from old b&w movies that most people never heard of to quizzing each other on music trivia. Our favorite B&W happens to be the same "The Trial" by Orson wells. If you haven't seen it check it out real an amazing movie well before its time.o and needless to say i thought i knew a lot about music he kick my butt on trivia hard he knows music history like no one i ever met.

Not sure about being super famous, but am pretty good friends with MOPAR super stock drag racer, 1967 NHRA champion Ed Miller... Very well known among the nostalgic community, and a very nice guy. At almost 80yrs of age, still building and racing consitent 9sec MOPARs !

I stop and spend a little time with Mopar Guru and legend Jim Hale once in a while. One time I stopped in and Don Grotheer was there,Merry Christmas,Kevin.

I went to high school with (now actor/comedian) Kevin Pollak. I don't think we cared much for each other. We were both terrible basketball players. We would keep subbing each other out while we left the other four on the court.

Same high school with Dave Righetti (SF Giants pitching coach). He was a year younger than me. He got drafted by the NY Yankees, I think was the youngest starting pitcher to play in a World Series. I ran into him a couple years later in a grocery store in San Jose, talked to him for a minute. You'd never know he was an all-star, just a nice modest guy.

I know a famous super hero! Do you think you know who it is? :D

Being you're Canadian, I'm gonna say Super Dave Osborne. As for me, I used to deliver the paper to Sheila McCarthy, most recently starred in Little Mosque on the Prairie. ;) lol

i hang out with rob j.p. and mike now and then aka rickey julian and bubbles and my great grandfather was famous in these parts captn Dicks of the nelie j banks the allusive pei rum runner

Mike Vucish aka" Mike Val" from Tommy James and the Shondells was the owner of the machine shop I work for. I know Mike very well. I have met Tommy James. I also met Bill Mazeroski ( Pittsburgh Pirate baseball HOF) a few times. More or less a friend of a friend.

I don't really "know" anyone, I have met several actors and musicians and one news anchor over the years. Most of the actors I have met are no longer with us.

I grew up in a small tourist town on the coast of Maine and it was a popular getaway for some, and some actually live there in the area.

I've met a bunch, but I don't claim they know me. Before she was married, my wife worked at a club that featured star quality entertainment and dated several whose names our older members would instantly recognize. A couple became longtime friends.

How a gorgeous woman like her ended up with me is a mystery!
