Those HF angle grinder are so inexpensive, I would get 3: Cut off wheel, coarse grade flapper wheel (30-60) (grinding slag drop oss) and a wire wheel (cleaning flux off weld to see if its shape) . If you got a good compressor, the pneumatic cut off is uber cheap now. I always have a flapper and a wire one handy.

I have a 26 gallon craftsman air compressor so I can use it. I planned on getting a metal saw and a new grinder from HF I usually get them there because they last me 2-3 years do that is decent for the money. I will need to make a trip there next month

No problem Cliff. Good luck with the rust repair. Don't know if I told you but the car ended up back at my friends place, he cut out a spot of rust on the quarter and within a few months it returned. When the car was put together someone dropped a wad of caulk down between the quarter and trunk extension. The way the wad was shaped any water that got down in there would lay right up against the quarter. Seam sealer does indeed have a purpose, but when it is used wrong it sort of defeats that purpose. Would suggest at the very least borrowing something similar to this to have look around where you can not physically see......if my friend had one of these things it would have saved a crap load of troubles.....

That will come in handy. I know both quarters will have to be replaced in my Charger. But I do have some repair work to do on my Cordoba and that would help
