for a 383 stroked to 431 with aluminum heads (heads flow 326 at 600cfm)mopar .528 cam, 4:10 gear, auto.......in 70 Duster......

Street or strip?

what t-ram? The plemum size will have alot to say about the carb you pick.

you can also go EZEFI - i did it on my t-ram & its a blast!

I had the same set-up on my old 426. Worked great. That would be my recommendation. Two - 660 center squirters....:glasses7:

the 660's are fun, but i'd still prefer a vac secondary for a street car.

I think Edelbrock makes a set of 500's set up for dual carb installations. A pair of small vac secondary Holleys (1850) are popular choices too.

I read in an old Dodge engine book about running the 660 center squirters and changing the rear metering plate to a block with jets........keep the thoughts coming.
thanks,

try 2 of the cheapo 600, 650, 700 or 750, vac carbs. the 600 and the 650's you can put on parallel to the t-ram (simple linkage) and the 700 and 750 have to go sideways.

You say street/strip......How much street?......I would consider the 660's a very limited street carb at best.

Just keep in mind that they come with a pretty rich fuel curve. On the R4224, the primary jet and secondary plate are both #76 jetting from Holley and that's pretty fat for that size carb. Also, the secondary openings are 1 to 1 with the primaries.

P.S. On the plus side, the MP .528" cam is pretty mild for your cubes and head flow. I could see 10+" of vacuum with that cam when everything is tuned right, and that's a big plus for streetability with the 2x4's.

narrowed down to Holly 650HP 0-82651's or the 750HP 0-82751 or 750hp with vac sec's.................still have to pick a stall convertor as well.

Look on Summit under AED carbs(modified Holley,s).If you contact AED,they will build carbs for your specific application.Just sayin...Good Luck.:D
