Any reports? How was the weather? Any pictures? Did anybody score some good parts for a project? Talk to me people!!! LOL!:happy1:

It was cool and cloudy on friday there were a few times it was sprinkling but it didn't see to bug anyone the grass and roads didn't even get wet. I couldnt go saturday so i'm not sure how it was.

It was certainly nice that it was 110 this year like years past!

Seemed like there were a lot of good deals this year too even for things I didn't need.

Thursday, sunny and hot, a few good deals around there. I bought an Offy 360 intake for a small block for $5 and an Edelbrock performer rpm for $20. Friday, overcast with decent temps but it threatened rain all day and you could tell it scared away some of the participants. Lots of lookers and not many takers but I scored a Lakewood blowproof bellhousing with block plate that looked like it was never used for $75. Saturday was rainy off and on all morning and later in the afternoon the sun popped through and it got pretty hot. Scored a complete rear differential out of a 2003 Viper with half shafts for $350 also picked up a box of dealer service manuals for Vipers for $10 each. Maybe the best score of the weekend was a DRBII scanner and a DRBIII scanner out of a dealership with all the manuals for $75 and then I bought all the accessories that went with it like the module to flash the electronic keys to vehicles and re flash computors and another for transmission scanning etc. If it works it will be great, if not it will be on e-bay next week.

Cool! Sounds like you did well on buying.

Except for a couple showers on Sat. it was a great show!
I picked up a couple parts a brand new dual-plane intake for my upcoming big block build, also got a deep trans pan kit off of the same vendor and i also got a good deal on a Gull wing spoiler for my Duster.

I also got sunburned and tired from walking all day! :D

Weather wise, it couldn't have been any better. As for the parts, I think it was the worst year. Other than renewing my subscription to MCG, it was the first time in almost 20 years that I didn't buy anything.

Lots of empty vendor spaces. Weather was hot but not as bad as last year. Bought a woodgrain steering wheel for my Swinger. All in all a great time which went by way to quickly.

I drove my Barracuda up on wet roads Saturday morning and it rained one and off in the morning but they the sun came out and it was hot and humid but not too bad.

Here are some pics from the For Sale section:

Green Dart: I believe asking $9,000
Black 340 4 spd Dart: Sold
Orange '70 Duster 340 4 spd $17,000
Green '69 Formula S Barracuda 340 4 spd rotisory restored, numbers matching $27,500, it was incredible!!
Brozne '69 Charger, org 318 car, now 440 w/AC and auto, $49,000 (was on craigslist 6 months ago for 34k and it was over priced then)

Thanks 340sFastback! I love window shopping the cars for sale even if I have no money. I like the Cuda and Charger.

I thought the weather was beautiful. It rained, but not that hard so it kept the sun from beating us up on Friday and most of Saturday. Saturday afternoon the sun came out and was pretty harsh if you didn't have sunscreen on.

I scored an E-body pistol grip shifter for $40. My best friend scored a Torquer II intake for $50 and a forged 134 tooth big block fly wheel for $50 as well. All of these were found on Saturday. I also picked up a spot weld drill bit so I can make more progress than last time I was under the car trying to remove the rear shock crossmember with a standard drill bit. I'm hoping I'll have time this week to try it out.

Where are all the pics? There was a bikini contest too right? Surely more members went there...no pics of the FABO tent? C'mon guys!! :D

Jake and i picked up a pair of keyed alike door locks for his 65 for $5, 2 rows after he talked another guy into taking the reverse lenses out of complete assemblies for $30 he found a near perfect reverse light lens for $5....... He's learning well....lol... ah, and a defroster tube for $1. Also picked up a couple of pre-paid orders to save on shipping.. I grabbed a tail light lens for my 05 Ram for $10.

Aside form that, we grilled our own dogs and burgers for lunch Fri/Sat in the land yacht row.... A good time was had by all.

I picked up a header panel for my 73 Dart Sport with the chrome trim attached for $25. It is in really good condition too.

I thought the show was excellent, but I could only be there for three hours, so what do I know. I got to meet HemiMark, Old Man Mopar and HemiDenny at the tent, so that was VERY COOL! Also got to tour the grounds (quickly) with my soon to be 5 yr old grandson. FANTASTIC!

I seen them cars in Denny and Marks thread, awesome stuff right there :prayer:

Thanks for the pictures :D

I dropped My duster radio off to retro sound. Will cost $400 and four to five months to complete. Replace everything on the inside to modern electronics.

I also bought a duster door skin.

I was looking for a really good duster grill And bought one for $40 at the end of the day. 50 feet away there was a grill it was much better That I must have walked by half a dozen times and did not see a. So I bought that one too.

Finally I dropped a spare instrument cluster to instrument specialties for restoration. Mr G's did my other one and I was not very happy with it plus it got a little damaged when I installed it.

I struck up a conversation with a staff member who said they were 20 percent below the car count on Friday compare to previous years.

A guy out of Maryland with selling his dart sport that had some type of rebuilt 360 on it but it was mostly a drag car. It was lime green cage car and not street legal. He was only asking $6000 or best offer which seem like a great starting car to fool around with. Abody stuff as usual very very scarce. That is unless you're looking for five to six and three quarter rearends lined up on a trailer.
