Sounds like a joke, eh? Well, its not ...
1. There is no bolt boss by the thermostat housing for the "passenger side" alternator tensioner.
2. There is no bolt boss next to the #1 plug hole for the 3 bolt alternator base to bolt up to.
3. There is no "countersink" machined into the face of the threaded plug holes, its unmachined (STILL needs washers on plugs)
4. Your valve cover has 2 "stacks" instead of one and a PCV grommet.
5. Your valve cover is mostly flat across the top.

Some of this stuff says 60-62 but I didnt see a date on my head. Just an FYI if you see a head at a swap meet and want to replace your 63-73 head and expect everything to bolt up identically.

hmm my chart dosn't go back that far!

More:
- larger CC combustion chambers
- 'dime' in the combustion chamber surface
- 3/8 bolt hole in rear rocker shaft post

I might ad the heater hose spud is pretty small but mine may be the wrong size anyway.

Thanks. Great info. I never saw the charts that 805moparkid posted, and filed them away.

RE: #3, are you saying that some drool tube heads need spark plug washers AND drool tubes? Is that IF they don't have the countersink machining on the sparkplug holes? Please explain...

What would be the reason for doing that? Just askin'...
