Well my wife bought me a model for my Birthday in Nov and damn it if I haven't gone off the deep end again. I haven't built a model since I was about 12 and I'm 49 now so I thought what the heck this should be fun. Like everything else I do it has gotten out of hand. I now have 5 models to build and all kinds of supplies and such if you know what I mean. Anyway this is what I'm building, I had to cut up a the 55 pro mod to use the back half of the chassis and build some panels to connect the two chassis, I'm learning a lot and having some fun while I'm waiting to get back to work on 1:1. I will post some more of my build pics later.

NICE work!

The braided line, that's for the radiator hoses? Nice work on the plug wires too!

NICE toolbox!!! I have a couple of them and a base...Gersner ?

I used to build a new model every week. I had over 20 at one time. My nieces destroyed them all, they dont call them the terrible 2s for nothing! Great work man.

skypower...... not every hose. If mine were shiny, so would be the paint on the outside! LOL But, the braided stuff looks AWESIOME on the models as it does, on the actual real car/truck at shows......

Nice work. Looks like fun. I haven't built one for 40 years. lol

I agree it can be very rewarding and calming to work on these models. For me it has been a god send this week, I lost one of my employees and a good friend to the Shooting at the Movie theater in Tampa this week, so the model has help get my mind off things so I can try and get some sleep. I am spending all my time right now working on raising funds for his wife who also was shot and his 2 yr old daughter Lexy.

DAMN that's sad to hear. I'm sorry.. and the little girl OMG..... I hope someone within the family is going to step up to the plate......God bless their little girl!

The mom Nicole is ok she was shot in the hand, bullet went thru her hand into his chest.

I am spending all my time right now trying to raise funds for them. Yes very sad just didn't need to happen.

Tinkering with the Cuda again decided to scratch build a water pump and damper instead of the clutch fan and pulley, I think it's more appropriate for this build.

I was my first time doing something like that so what do you think.

Still got to fill the cover.
