Anybody following the Violent Valiant build?

-
I seen it but haven't taken the time to read on it until know. Definitely something to follow.

Wild build! Hard for me to relate to. Most of the car is fabricated.

I can see it all now, LOL

DAD: "So, my young friend, You intend to take my daughter out. What sort of car is that, anyway?"

KID: "That's my old Plymouth Valiant. We call it the Violent Valiant."

DAD: "I just remembered, my daughter is grounded"

Correct answer for the kid would be "Well, sir, it's just my grandmothers old Plymouth, but it runs well and gets good gas mileage."

Hey guys. I'm building this car. Thanks for wanting to follow the build. Anyone have any questions or a specific photo they'd like to see?

Are you saying this IS your car or that you're building one similar?

Hell, I don't care either way YES we want photos LOL

Hilborn injection? I'm actually vaciallating between that and a single turbo, myself. SB Mopar stack injection is hard to find on ebay!!!!

I'm going to follow this build now!!!

Looks great Kevin, how about some just some pictures as the build goes along. Really looks awesome.

Can't wait to see how the new front clip turns out.

If guys here haven't been following along, they cut off the complete front frame and clip. Normally Id would frown on that, but these guys I'm pretty sure are going to make it bad *** just like the rear of the car.

Yep, it's MY car. AND I'm building it.

Hilborn no longer offers the injector for the LA motor. I could call them and ask if they still have the pattern if you like. I'm a Hilborn dealer.

Hey guys. Sorry I haven't been on here in a while. Running a business, trying to keep up with all the sites, I have a new son, and slaving away to get the Valiant done for the Summer, etc. You guys get the picture. I'm posting a link to all the updates on Bangshift.com, and I'll try to get some unique photos up on here this week.

thanks for the link, I go to Bangshift every now and again to find updates, but haven't found much. Great build by the way, look forward to every update.

Hey guys! I need HELP!

That's right, I need a 1964 Valiant tail panel trim. Preferably that unicorn one that has almost no damage. Every single one I find has damage.

Anyone that can help, please call me at 630-901-5077 or at the shop phone 630-458-0808. This is for the Violent Valiant for SEMA this year.

I'm not sure if you did or not but try posting in the wanted section. Someone on this site is bound to have it.

Following this build now. Your car is what I intended my Barracuda build to be...............on steroids!

Gorgeous over-the-top work!!

:burnout:

I heard the violent valiant uses ford headlight doors. I'm looking for more info on that but the build thread on bangshift won't load for me. I'm wondering if they are an exact match or just fit a 63-66 valiant. I really like the angled profile of the originals but they are about 4x the price if the ford re-pops are the same its a no brainier.
