New 2014 Pro Stock Dodge Dart!

Very nice! wish it was the Challenger, but very cool anyway.

Nice looking race car.To bad Fiat won't offer a 2 door rear wheel drive model for production.

Yeah! I'm with him. Just can't get terribly excited about new body shell to update the
AA/Fuel Dragsters that are supposed to represent the manufacturers.

It will be good to see AJ and Jeg back on the track this weekend. Can't wait to see what that Dart looks like with some color on it.

I'm a AJ fan, but nothing to get excited about looks like any other PS. And 6.56? almost a tenth to slow. Soon it will be the "Car of Tomorrow" like nascar and the only difference between them will be decals.

Great looking car! I do foresee pro stock as it is now, will not be around much longer. The factory "super cars" will be taking over soon.

Pro stock has been around for 40+ years.....so all the owner of those cars are going to just evaporate...they have millions of dollars invested......

the factory show down cars....dont even run heads up....so cars/engine combos will need to be factored or weight added.....so are basically back to pro stock in the 1970....what ever car or factory that cries the most will get a weight break and win....next week the weight breaks will change....

so you car can be made uncompetitive with the whip of a pen.....

one pro stock team owner could buy nhra and still have change left over...

I hear what you are saying. But honestly, pro stock does absolutely nothing for me. The cars don't look anything like a "stock" car. The motors in these cars are nothing like what comes in these cars from the factory, nothing about these cars is stock. Unless you are a millionaire you can't compete. I would much rather see the actual factory built cars out there. The people that attend these races, for the most part, cannot relate to these cars, and it shows when the pro stock rounds come up. I worked our booth at the races here at Wild Horse Pass a couple of weekends ago. Friday thru Sunday. Unless top fuel, or stock/super stock were running, the stands were empty. I think it would be a good thing to see pro stock go back to its roots. That's my opinion.

The fans empty out after the fuel cars run....period....not many people watching stock/super stock either...the average fan has no idea about drag racing except John force races a mustang....and they think it has a ford engine too...

i dont care to watch the fuel cars....I like the pro stockers...have been watching them since 1972...
the racing is close....wins by thousands....hole shots wins...exciting...to each his own...

Agree

I'm the opposite. I'll watch the last few rounds of the fuel cars but I usually watch the stuff up to pro mod. Fuel car races usually are own by whoever hooked or didn't blow up. Like others have said I like close races and I love bracket racing. Plus I love watching stick shift cars run. I respect those stick shift guys a lot.

I could give a rat's patoot about the fuel cars but always watch Pro Stock,Stock,Super Stock and Super Gas and Super Street if it's running. Also like Comp eliminator. I actually prefer going to the Divisional races where they run the "sportsman" classes. I can enjoy a good bracket race just as much. I have a friend that races Super Gas and he says many of the touring "sportsman" racers feel drag racing is soon facing a transition in the way things are run. Sorry for straying off topic somewhat....I for one like the new style Pro Stockers. Been a fan of the class since they were running times some stock eliminator cars are now running.
