I am going to be making some Billet defroster vents for a 65 dart that we are currently building. I was wanting to see if there is any interest in these. I know that there are being reproduced in plastic, but these will be aluminum. I currently do not have a price, but I will soon. 62-65 B-BODY,63-66 A-BODY & 72-80 TRUCK all use the same vent.

I'd be interested if you branch out to include '67-'76 A-bodies. I think you would have a much larger target market for those years.

Just as long as theyre not polished, id be interested. Polished would make an awful glare.

I had made a Mastercam program to make them back in high school, but never got around to getting the right aluminum to cut them.

I am working on getting a price soon. I should have a couple of the made by next Friday. I will post up some pics and a price then. They will be and exact copy of the factory vent with an optional sleeve that will adapt the vent to the hose size required to run a vintage air unit.

Sorry for the delay.
Here they are. 100% billet aluminum. They will come Mill finished. They are a stock replacement with an adapter for the use of vintage air defroster duct. Replace your Plastic ones that will fade or become brittle over time.
Price. 300.00 a pair plus shipping

Is the diameter the same as the other end of the duct at the heater? Finding the duct hoses with the two different sizes is the problem. Those vents are reproduced in plastic and usually available on ebay. I can't find the ducts.

I am not sure what size is on the heater box, but theses are an exact match as the factory vents. I just machined a sleeve that will allow you to adapt a smaller size duct if you are running an aftermarket A/C system.
