Great rep, customer service and knowledgeable. You can get everything there for the swap in one shot.

If you have a 383, and it's a suregrip rear, you should not have any problems roasting the tires with what you have.

could i have lower gears ?

As in numerically?

If you aren't sure what gear you have, jack up the rear and put jack stands under the diff. Put a chalk mark on the driveshaft and on the housing that line up. Put a mark on the bottom of the sidewall on the right rear tire put a corresponding mark on the ground. Slowly turn the right rear tire forward one revolution (mark to mark) while counting the rotations of the driveshaft.

If the driveshaft rotates, let's say, 3 and 1/3 tuns to one complete rotation of the tire then you have 3.23's.

You don't really NEED the line lock to do burn outs.

That may be true but it helps save the rear brakes and makes things a little easier.

Agreed on going with Dr. Diff... Cass usually has the best prices on great parts and he won't BS you. If you have any problem setting them up he's a wealth of knowledge and will walk you through it

4.56 gears are common.

No line-Loc required with that much gear!!!! Push the clutch rev her up a little drop and enjoy.... 3.23 a little more rpm and you should still be in the fun factor !!

What tire size are you running?
If you're looking for a little more grunt then I'd go with 3:55 maybe 3:73.
