Looking for a Tubbed 69 340 4 Speed Dart

This was my dad's car. It was a purple 69 Dart GTS from Nanty Glo, PA. The car was fully tubbed, tucking 19 1/2 x 33 MT's on Weld Racing wheels. The car had slightly darker purple bumpers and snorkel on the scoop. Fiberglass fenders and hood, Harwood fuel cell. Full interior. I think the rear fender wells were rolled to accept the tires without rubbing. It was a 340 4-speed car with a tunnel ram and two 4's. He traded it to a guy in the Latrobe Area for a 68 Barracuda Drag car with the name "Shot in the Dark" painted on the doors. The Dart had unmistakable stripes that you can see in the pictures. These are digital images to show what it looked like then. The snorkel was a 5' rectangular scoop, not the pro-stock style shown in these pictures. The wheels were the round hole drag lite looking ones. Not the drag stars in the renderings. It had "Street Justice" in script letters on the sides of the scoop and "THINK" in bold block letters on the back of the scoop. This car was completely unmistakable. I guess the well is dry on this one. Hate to bump, but I've never heard the first peep on this. It'd still be great to run across the car or find anyone who had any info about it. Again, car was unmistakable.

The fenders look chopped, not rolled.
 
Have you tried doing a search on the plate through Pennsylvania DMV?
Just a thought...
I would have loved to have been able to find my old '69 Dart that stupidly sold years ago. It also was fully tubbed with 14.00 x 32 slicks all tucked underneath and with the stock rear wheel well opening height - the wheel openings were stretched 4 inches but stock height.

Are you sure it was a 69? Looks like a 67 (no side markers)

Keep trying, somebody has to remember that car. Try posting on Moparts too if you haven't already.
 
Brandon, I surf the burgh CL from time to time and saw a tired old GTS racer up. Been almost a year ago when I was hunting for parts for my 72. I am originally from PA stationed at Bragg

Thanks. Definitely a '69. The car had fiberglass fenders, bumpers and hood. Probably why the markers were missing.
 
Try the class racer forum. A lot of old racers on there from everywhere.
what an experience when you find it.
