Hello guys and girls , here is the dilemma, big block 70 duster 4 speed . Hooker fenderwell headers with 3 1/2 collecters , would really like to get some tail pipes going but cant seem to find a clean nice way to route exhaust . and the subframe connectors dont help , thanks in advance

The biggest issue with Hooker fender well header is the ground clearance at the collector. I would just run the pipe down the door sill and cross over near the start of the rear clip.

why not run sidepipes?
just have them come out the fender and dive under the door

I had side pipes on it and although it sounded cool and mean it didnt have the bark that tailpipes give , but i might run some side pipes

Mine tubes were turned back under the Barracuda to get the exhaust out the rear.

Thanks for the help guys , bought a universal xpipe and some header reducers , gonna build my own exhaust to the back bumber :) flowmaster or thrush glass packs,

Exactly my delima, dont wont it looking like the 3 stooges been under there doing their infamous pipe fitting routine. I may buy some weld on collectors and weld those on to the inside of the collectors pointing over to the trans and go back from there, at least they will be half way hidden and powercoat everything black to help hide it all.

The collectors do angle down a lot! I cut mine and took some angle out. You could aim them in a bit also.
