Does anybody have any plans for the Mopar Nationals this year.

It will probably be my only trip to the north and about as far east
as I will get this year. Looking forward to a great time!

I think every state has a "Mopar nationals"? I'm trying to figure out which one he is referring to! I would love to do Columbus but it is too close to Carlisle. The expense is just to big to do both from Oregon.

It sucks they moved it from columbus, it was right down the road for me. Now it's in Norwalk I think?

I heard something about it too... It's the same drive for me from Indianapolis, but I kept checking to make sure I knew where to book a room

got 16 rooms booked at the Holiday Inn Express in Reynoldsburg of I-70 /Rt 250.... all Mopar peeps, looks like it will be a year to remember.

show was terrible last yr. I wont be going

Maybe you are not hangin'' with the right crowd.....we had a blast....as usual.

All are welcome!.....bring your best bench racin' and cooler.

Only a couple of guidelines.....

1) no bitchen
2) no politics
3) no chicken sandwiches (added for 2015)

Hangin out with yoose guys would be the only reason for me to go back. The Nats do seem to be getting worse each year.

Carlilse also seems to be getting smaller each year.

hi, i havent been to the nats in years . the last time i was there i got two big door dings in my gts and had to clean it up for weeks to get all the dust out of it, they park to damn close and its a dust bowl . i think ill go to monster mopars in norwalk in sept 2015

Mopar Nats is in Columbus and that is Aug 7th thru 9th Monster Mopar is Norwalk and that's Sep 11-13
I will likely be going to both. Selling keys at Nat's and just going up to Norwalk because I have no better sense. I plan to take both cars to Nats. Not sure about Norwalk yet.
I'm also seriously considering Carlisle too as that is a pretty good show and a good time. No old cars there, to far to drive a 40 yr old car.
I will also be at the Indy Cylider Head Show in Indy the first of March. That's for sure, the hotel is already booked!

I haven't been there in a few years due to various reasons. (Work etc.) I remember seeing it go from small in the early 90's to huge in the mid 2000's. Is it really getting smaller? That is not good. I do remember the swap meet though. Some people were selling parts there that were worse than what I already had! Its a shame when you are scrounging for parts and the shot junk that you already have is better than what is for sale. maybe people wised up, a lot of junk men have been ripping off Mopar restores for a lot of years. That may have something to do with it...:blob:

Ill be at Carlisle with the Pheonix and my dad will have the Power Wagon there and maybe the V10 will be there idk yet you guys still have the FABO tent again this year?

Plan on going. Finally got he Holiday Inn in Heath, Ohio (where all of the action is!) I have been trying to stay there for the last 5 years and even though I am a Platinum I HG Rewards Club member I STILL couldn't get a room there. Not sure if I'm taking the Dart or not, . It cost a lot of money.

Been going to the Mopar Nats since 83. I only missed the couple years when it moved to Indy. True it is not what it used to be in many ways but it's all about attitude. I always make it a positive experience because I overlook certain things and try to have fun. I'll try to hang with HemiDenny more and see what happens. Met him at the Hemi Reunion near Cincy a couple summers ago. Talk about a disappointing show, but it's always good when I can drive the old iron 4-500 miles in a day. The Norwalk show is more drag oriented but the Nats has everything in one place, 1/4 mile drags, show, swap, cruise.

You guys complaining about the cost....if gas prices stay down (I saw 93 octane for less than $2 last week) this may be the best year in awhile. We may not have gas this cheap EVER again.

Thinking of driving to Carlisle but bad timing on my part because I acquired a /6 Valiant so I could go to more shows and not deal with 13 MPG...

Mopar Nats getting worse every year .... not for me for awhile ... i am going to the show in Kitchener Ont....

Hey guys,

Went to the Nats last year. It was okay. Carlisle was better. But, the family and I are going again and we'll also be hitting the All Chrysler Nationals at Carlisle. FYI, there's also a good Mopar show in September in Nashville, TN. Not sure what the dates are yet. It's a Friday through Sunday event. See you all at the shows!

For 2013 , the boys and I rented a 40 x40 tent....last year we upped the size to 40 x 60

For this year, I already have 20 cars lined up.....requiring a 40 x 120 tent , with a couple of past participants not confirmed yet.....could go bigger.

As usual, we reserve a large area around the tent for FABO / A body parking.....it is free, I only ask the tent attendees to help defray the cost of the tent.

This year will be special with a line up of what many would describe as some of the top Mopars in the world.

Join us.....don't be shy...it is a blast!!

Always a good time at the HDK tent. I may go to Carlisle this year instead of the Nats. Gotta try it once and I can't do both. You guys have fun and I'll see you next year. tmm
