Hey guys...

I bought a new forward engine harness from Classic Industries for my 67 Barracuda FB... I have a couple questions about some wires that didn't exist in the one that I replaced it with..

First, where does this purple w/white stripe wire on the battery side harness connect to? I had nothing that even resembled it on the harness I removed.

And then on the passenger side... I'm assuming these connect to the coil with the grey one used for the temp sending unit?

I ordered a new harness like that too it should have in the paper work what each wire is for. Some wires may not be used depending on how your car was optioned if you have extra wires that serve no purposes de-term them from your bulkhead

The paperwork says to use my current wiring as a guide... :???:

The purple/white kinda looks like the brake warning? Because of the boot.

The other side gray should be oil pressure. The other 2 are covered so you can not see any colors.

Seems they may offer a harness from M&H but that does not look like one. The M&H harness would be spot on. Is this harness a modified unit for electronic ignition?

Look at this wiring doc.

Violet/trace is Brake warning. The others are also shown on the engine harness page. Looks like a quality harness.

Thanks Gerald... great info. My schematic was essentially unreadable.

Great!!!

Some of the colors changed for 68/69 looked weird to me at first until I looked at the 67 docs.
