What engine is that? Some sort of Toyota engine, maybe?

Someone was trying to push me into installing an RB26DETT or an RB30DET into the Dart. I thought about it but it for a moment but it would be way too much fab work.

All you have done is piqued the curiosity of a lot of people, (me, especially.) and you owe us an explanation. Those pictures raise a lot more questions than they answer...

Very almost built proof engines, both the supra and skyline engines are damn good engines lots of potential many over 1000hp and daily driven.
 
VVTi stands for Variable Valve Timing (with) intelligence.

Almost ALL modern Toyota engines sport the VVTi nomenclature and it does not
identify any particular engine.

The fact that it was a Supra engine is the important part.
